Job summary

The Tile Shop in Glen Allen, VA is seeking an energetic sales associate to greet customers, build lasting relationships, and educate them on our wide range of tile products. You will work evenings and weekends and strive to meet and exceed personal sales goals while tracking orders and providing timely product updates.

Earn 45K to 75K in your first year through a draw plus commission structure; related benefits include medical, HSA, vision, 401(k), matching, and employee discount.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and goal orientation.
• Commission-based sales experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Sense of design across styles and textures.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Read, write and speak in English.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Proactively greet customers professionally
• Develop lasting customer relationships by treating customers with courtesy
• Conduct follow-up customer communication
• Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations
• Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
• Understand and track established individual sales goals
• Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
• Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
• Work evenings and weekends
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations

45K to 75K expected 1st year earnings in a draw pluscommission payment structure
