Job description

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

  • Coach sales associates
  • Meet daily with the department team
  • Provide advice, support, motivation, or information to help meet sales objectives
  • Ensure the department is effectively selling products
  • Work directly with customers and employees within the department, and collaborate with other departments as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet customer needs
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and usage
  • Highlight product features based on customer needs analysis
  • Assist customers in locating or obtaining merchandise
  • Describe merchandise and explain its use, operation, and care
  • Apply methods for showing, promoting, and selling products
  • Maintain personal sales volume and metrics
  • Achieve sales goals for the department
  • Manage staffing and scheduling for the department
  • Train and develop existing and new associates
  • Maintain a clean and sales-ready department, communicating its importance to staff
  • Ensure the department is ready for store opening and straighten at closing
  • Coordinate with visual team on departmental needs
  • Provide excellent customer service and perform other duties as directed by management

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including opening and closing. Advanced Storis knowledge required. Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 20 lbs. Effective communication skills, positive attitude, and proven leadership within the organization are essential.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motions.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled setting.
