Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in California seeks a Senior Manager, Sales Data Architecture & Engineering to lead the U.S. THV Sales data foundation, dashboards, and analytics-ready datasets.

You will drive scalable data models, semantic layers, and reliable pipelines for BI users and analysts. You will partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into durable solutions, oversee Snowflake migration efforts, and shepherd data governance across sales domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of related sales operations, business strategy and/or financial planning experience, or equivalent.
• Master’s Degree with 8 years of related experience as per Edwards criteria.
• Advanced SQL skills with ability to analyze, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize complex datasets.
• Experience supporting Sales Operations or field analytics in a complex organization.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling and data governance practices.
• Experience with BI platforms like Tableau/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of U.S. THV Sales data architecture, including SQL structures, curated datasets, reporting models, and semantic layer design.
• Ensure data is organized, scalable, reliable, and usable for BI developers and business users.
• Define reusable business logic, standardized metrics, and analytics-ready datasets for reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into sustainable data models, not one-off solutions.
• Lead development and maintenance of data pipelines supporting sales reporting and dashboards.
• Oversee ingestion, transformation, validation, testing, and production support for critical data assets.
• Troubleshoot data issues with advanced SQL, validate transformations, and optimize queries.
• Establish controls for pipeline reliability, monitoring, and issue escalation.
• Collaborate with IT to improve pipeline performance, lineage, and scalability.
• Manage U.S. THV Sales SQL databases including structure, access, and reliability.
• Coordinate issue resolution related to database health and production-impacting issues.
• Document data dictionaries, metric definitions, lineage, and data limitations.
• Lead a high-performing Data team focused on architecture, engineering, and analytics enablement.
