Named one of the 2023 Top Places to Work in Southeast WI by Top Workplaces and the Journal Sentinel.

We’re presenting an exciting opportunity for a Sales Data Analyst to join our growing sales team! We’re looking for a data-driven, strategic, and highly collaborative individual who can turn complex sales data into clear insights that drive executive decision-making. This role blends hands-on data analytics with strategic sales planning—meaning you’ll build dashboards and frameworks that not only track performance but also shape the future of our sales organization.

What makes this a great opportunity?

This is a unique opportunity to directly impact revenue growth by providing critical analytical support for NBF’s ongoing sales transformation. You’ll be the go-to data expert—developing trusted dashboards, surfacing insights, and enabling leaders to make confident decisions. At the same time, you’ll gain high visibility working with Sales, Finance, and Operations leadership, sharpening your technical skills while influencing strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and models that track sales performance, pipeline health, and productivity.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and use Python to clean, transform, and manage large datasets from CRM, ERP, and Finance systems.
  • Establish data quality checks and governance processes to ensure reliable reporting.
  • Identify trends, risks, gaps, and growth opportunities that improve sales outcomes.
  • Build frameworks for quarterly business reviews and track sales transformation initiatives.
  • Provide data inputs for annual sales planning including quota setting, territory design, and account segmentation.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales Ops to refine forecasting processes and reporting tools.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis to leadership and sales managers to support decision-making.
  • Document data models, reporting logic, and dashboard standards for sustainability.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, sales operations, or related fields; Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
  • Advanced in SQL and Python for managing, cleaning, and automating large datasets.
  • Skilled in Power BI (data modeling, DAX) with proven dashboard design and maintenance experience.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes (pipeline, forecasting, quotas, segmentation) and CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics 365).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills with the ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
Nice to have
  • Experience building data governance frameworks and quality checks.
  • Success driving adoption of dashboards and reporting tools across multiple teams.
  • A sharp business mind with the ability to connect insights to commercial outcomes.
  • Comfort working in a fast-changing, transformation-focused environment.
