This role is for a Sales Counselor in the funeral services industry. The position covers pre‑need and at‑need funeral services, cemetery services, property, and merchandise sale. The counselor assists families with funeral selections, attends services, and manages leads generated through walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.

About the Role

• Estimated first‑year earnings range: $40,000 - $50,000
• Uncapped commission and earnings
• Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks
• Leads are generated through a combination of walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred
• 1 year of sales experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required
• Experience with a CRM (lead management system preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment
• High level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
• Availability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed
