Job summary

Everstory Partners in Covington, KY, is seeking a Sales Counselor to support families with funeral service selections and related cemetery merchandise. You will assist clients during services and manage a mix of walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.

Target first-year earnings range is $50,000 to $70,000 with uncapped commissions. Training pay of $18.00 per hour for six weeks is provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package and travel requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing or sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required; CRM experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Offsite appointments will occur in this role including meetings with clients and community events. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel associated with job duties.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
