ENGEL North America is seeking a Sales Coordinator & Support to generate technically and commercially complete quotes and process orders for ENGEL machines and robots. You will coordinate with external sales, ENGEL departments worldwide, and customers to meet requirements and specifications, serving as a technical expert for our products.

POSITION INFORMATION

Job Summary:

Generates technically and commercially complete ENGEL machine and robot quotes and processes orders for such. Coordinates with external sales, ENGEL departments (including the business units located globally) and customers to present machine and robot quotes that meet customer requirements and specifications, including special machines, options and functions. Serves as a technical expert resource for specific products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties as outlined in the sales process matrix

• Generates quotes for ENGEL machines and robots.
• Processes orders and monitors/maintains/manages milestones
• Processes order changes
• Approves equipment calculations and commission calculations, escalates as necessary
• Engages in direct communication with customers, as required
• Fulfills defined KPIs for the quote and order process

Participates in development and training activities

• Participates in training as specified by the supervisor
• Provides systems support and training for external sales

Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Educational/Training Requirement:

• Degree in technical field, equivalent work experience, or 2 years or more experience as a JR SCS.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience, including prior experience with data entry, technical documentation, and administrative processes. Knowledge of injection molding machines and robots is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Time Management/Critical Thinking/Self Motivated
• Excellent communications skills and team player
• Proficiency with Microsoft products, Salesforce and SAP
