Position: Sales Coordinator

This role is an entry point into the equipment rental business. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for developing customer relationships, processing orders, tracking equipment locations and availability, coordinating logistics, billing, and supporting the outside sales team to provide excellent customer service.

Essential Functions

  1. Support sales staff by processing invoices, contracts, credit applications, and sales/finance reports.
  2. Utilize company systems (e.g., Salesforce, reservation systems) to document and track sales activities accurately and promptly.
  3. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  4. Manage the receipt, organization, and movement of equipment and attachments.
  5. Maintain accurate inventory records.
  6. Assist customers in completing paperwork for transactions, via phone or in person.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Experience in processing detailed paperwork.
  2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  3. Proficiency in computer processes and Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  5. Willingness and ability to go outside to review equipment inventory as needed.
  6. High School diploma (Military service may substitute for education).

Supervisory Responsibilities

Work primarily in an office environment with regular trips to the repair shop and outdoor yard.

Travel Requirements

Some overnight travel may be required.

Physical Demands

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds, and working indoors/outdoors as needed.
