Job description

Employer Industry: Food Distribution

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as the first point of contact for Territory Managers and customers, providing administrative support and resolving inquiries
- Process customer orders and ensure accuracy through internal order entry systems
- Promote customer engagement with US Foods’ online services and highlight ongoing promotions
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to support customer relationships and drive sales performance
- Utilize proprietary systems and tools to efficiently answer inquiries and provide insights

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of previous customer service experience required; food service distribution experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with solid problem resolution abilities
- Ability to professionally influence and persuade customers to purchase products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, especially Salesforce.com, is a plus
- Experience in food service distribution is advantageous
