Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a motivated Customer Quote Coordinator to support the sales team by processing incoming quote requests and ensuring complete information for accurate quotes.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, maintain quoting records, and assist with new product launches and PPAP-related tasks. This role offers flexible hybrid scheduling and a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or quoting preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming quote requests promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with sales, estimators, production and internal teams to gather pricing and lead times.
• Maintain records in the quoting system and support PPAP and special purchase orders.
• Resolve issues related to missing or incorrect information and ensure timely quotes.
• Provide positive customer experience and act as primary contact for inquiries.

Job description

Supports the sales team by processing incoming requests. Ensures requests include all needed information to generate accurate and timely quotes. Serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and creates a positive customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Processes incoming quote requests promptly and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and accurate.
• Works with customers and/or internal teams to resolve issues with missing and/or incorrect information.
• Collaborates with sales, estimators, production, and other internal teams to gather pricing, lead times, and other relevant details needed to prepare accurate quotes.
• Supports new product launch activities including part number creation, entering and invoicing tooling purchase orders, and entering PPAP and special purchase orders.
• Maintains accurate records of all quote requests, updates, and communications in the company's quoting system.
• Conducts mass price updates and maintains customer scorecards.
• Coordinates with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensures prompt resolution of customer issues.

• Ability to navigate multiple Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) systems.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and/or quoting is preferred.
