Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Sales Coordinator in Flowood, MS to support the Sales Department with administrative tasks and coordination of marketing projects. You will answer phones, file, and prepare sales kits while assisting with meetings and catering sales efforts.

Applicants should have strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to organize multiple tasks in a dynamic hospitality environment.

What you will be doing

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to assist the Sales Department by performing administrative functions. This will include answering phones, filing, coordinating marketing/advertising projects, as well as our meetings and catering sales efforts, distributing inquiries to Sales team, create sales kits, and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Ideal Experience and Personal Profile

• Experience equivalent to intermediate, or preferably advanced, user level in: Microsoft Office
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to review written material for compliance with rules of correspondence and grammar.
• Skilled in the use of general office equipment (i.e. copiers, fax machines, etc.).
• Ability to excel in a diverse work environment and communicate with individuals having a wide variety of educational levels and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Ability to organize work, plan multiple activities, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with the ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
• Availability for normal business hours (Monday through Saturday), with flexibility to work hours outside the typical workday based on business demands is required.
• Applicants with prior hotel and/or hotel sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
