Job summary

Mattress Warehouse is looking for a motivated Retail Sales Consultant to help customers find the right mattress using our bedMATCH diagnostic system. You will drive sales while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in a busy retail environment.

Ideal candidates enjoy helping customers, can work a retail schedule including evenings and weekends, and are comfortable using tablets and a mobile POS. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience or proven ability to sell in a consumer-facing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and close sales.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or other languages a plus; willingness to work evenings, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sell mattresses and bedding using our selling process and bedMATCH system.
• Provide a relaxed, low-pressure shopping experience and educate customers on sleep solutions.
• Assist customers with loading purchases onto their vehicles and loading showroom displays as needed.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized showroom and contribute to team selling goals.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Consultants to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 35+ years, and we are USA family owned and operated! You will confidently sell our premium mattress/bedding products utilizing our tried and proven selling process and cutting-edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch.

Preferred Qualifications

• We are looking for motivated people with the availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends. Our typical 4-5-day work week offers our Retail Sales Consultants the opportunity to work between 40 and 55 hours a week.
• Bilingual with equal fluency in verbal and written English and Spanish or other languages a plus!
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
• You will provide our customers with a relaxed, low pressure and educational shopping experience focusing on improving their lives through our sleep solutions.
• We use state of the art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS), and our exclusive bedMatch system.
• A winning team-oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm are keys to success!
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and understanding their needs.
