Overview

Consult with America's businesses, leveraging Paychex key referral channels and partnerships to educate stakeholders on our services, and provide consultative solutions to increase market share and drive revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve unit and revenue expectations.
  • Spend a weekly minimum of 3 field days (60%) in a local territory, cultivating referral relationships with external partners and existing clients for net new business.
  • Create, manage, and advance accounts, leads, and opportunities in the company’s CRM system (Salesforce) and provide accurate sales activity and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with key referral sources, including Accountants, Banks, and existing Paychex clients, to educate, consult, and secure referrals to end user sales.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with existing and new channel accounts via telephone calls, targeted email campaigns, and corporate marketing programs, as directed by Sales Management.
  • Use the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present Paychex solutions to stakeholders and decision makers, either in person or virtually, to increase revenue and market share.
  • Develop sales skills and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Paychex products, staying updated on new initiatives, services, industry trends, and relevant information.
  • Complete and submit all paperwork for new sales within SLA guidelines.
  • Address and escalate client concerns as necessary, following up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Travel may be required for visiting channel partners, attending sales trips, training, and area meetings.
  • Uphold and demonstrate Paychex Values in every interaction.
Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or marketing roles.
  • Valid Driver's License required
Compensation

The starting base pay ranges from $59,000 to $69,000 annually, plus bonuses. Total compensation depends on factors like location, skills, education, and experience.
