Job summary

Sysco outside sales position focused on promoting Freshpoint products and services. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia, with occasional non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

You must live within 30 miles of the territory or be willing to relocate at your own expense; relocation assistance is not available. Weekly visits, account development, and coordinating with service teams drive CMP goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, and/or chef/restaurant management experience, and/or related (Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts) degree.
• 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience preferred
• Restaurant management / chef experience preferred

• Prospecting/opening new accounts to meet company objectives and CMP goals.
• Pricing and order-guide building

JOB SUMMARY

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company's products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts. The main focus is to help Freshpoint customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company. This position may require working some non-traditional hours (evening, weekends, and holidays) to successfully meet customers' needs.

The work territory of this position is Washington, DC and Northern Virginia (specifically Arlington and Alexandria). You must live no further than 30 miles from the territory or be willing to relocate at your own expense (relocation assistance is not available for this position).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High School degree or equivalent

Experience
