POSITION SUMMARY

Future Homes of America is seeking a Home Sales Consultant responsible for guiding prospective buyers through the home purchasing process — from initial contact to closing. This position requires a motivated, people-oriented individual who excels in building relationships, understanding customer needs, and closing deals with integrity and professionalism.

OBJECTIVES

-Guide customers through the entire home buying process, from inquiry to closing.

-Build strong relationships with prospective buyers by understanding their needs and preferences.

-Educate customers on available home models, features, pricing, and financing options.

-Conduct follow-ups with leads using CRM tools and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

-Work with lenders, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely closings.

-Maintain an organized and welcoming sales office or model home environment.

-Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by leadership.

-Represent the company and brand professionally during all customer and community interactions.

-Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.

-Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and customer trends.

COMPETENCIES

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

-Proven track record in sales, preferably in housing, real estate, or retail environments.

-Ability to listen, ask the right questions, and match customers with the right home solutions.

-Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and scheduling tools to manage daily tasks.

-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

-Familiarity with financing options and basic understanding of mortgage processes.

-Team player with a collaborative mindset and commitment to company value

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, real estate, or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience with manufactured homes, residential housing, or financing processes is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.
