Mattress Warehouse / Sleep Outfitters is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to guide customers through a consultative sales process, using bedMATCH technology to tailor sleep solutions.

You will join a team focused on customer care, product knowledge, and achieving sales goals, with training, product discounts, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Consultative, retail, commissioned, or customer-facing sales experience.
• Experience helping customers make high-consideration purchases.
• Background in automotive, wireless, jewelry, furniture, appliances, electronics, power equipment, or similar sales environments.
• Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort starting conversations, asking questions, recommending solutions, and working toward sales goals.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

What You’ll Need

• Availability to work a full-time retail schedule across four to five days per week.
• Flexibility to work approximately 40–55 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and most holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, assist with showroom resets, and help customers with purchases.
• Comfort learning and using tablets, mobile point-of-sale systems, and other retail technology.
• A customer-focused, team-oriented approach.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated annual earnings for this position are $45,698–$85,987, with compensation based on the greater of hourly wages or earned commission, plus eligibility for bonuses. Actual earnings may vary based on location, hours worked, sales performance, and commission results.
