Job summary

Mattress Warehouse is hiring Retail Sales Consultants in Laurel, MD. You will help customers select premium mattresses using our bedMATCH diagnostic system and deliver a relaxed, educational shopping experience.

Expect a robust compensation package with hourly wage or commission, bonuses, and a 401(k) with employer match. Generous PTO, training, and employee discounts are included. Schedule includes evenings and weekends, with lifting requirements up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist loading purchases.

Responsibilities

• Sell mattresses and accessories to customers using bedMATCH diagnostic process.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and setting up showroom displays.
• Provide a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience.
• Utilize tablets and POS systems during the sales process.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Consultants to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 35+ years, and we are USA family owned and operated! You will confidently sell our premium mattress/bedding products utilizing our tried and proven selling process and cutting-edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch .

• We are looking for motivated people with the availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends. Our typical 4–5-day work week offers our Retail Sales Consultants the opportunity to work between 40 and 55 hours a week.
• Bilingual with equal fluency in verbal and written English and Spanish or other languages a plus!
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
• You will provide our customers with a relaxed, low pressure and educational shopping experience focusing on improving their lives through our sleep solutions.
• We use state of the art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS), and our exclusive bedMatch system.
• A winning team-oriented attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm are keys to success!
