Job summary

Boardwalk Honda, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to deliver an exceptional customer experience, build lasting relationships, generate new business, and meet sales goals in South Jersey. Candidates should have 1–2+ years in automotive sales, excellent customer service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on performance.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of sales experience in the Automotive industry preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare competitive models
• Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers
• Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
• Implement follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business
• Stay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customers
• Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards
