Job summary

Mattress Warehouse is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant in Dayville, CT. You will use our bedMATCH diagnostic system to match customers with the right mattress while delivering exceptional service in a busy retail setting.

Qualified candidates can expect a schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and weekends, with 40–55 hours per week. Prior bilingual ability is a plus, and lifting up to 75 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work retail schedule including evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or other languages is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and assist customers with loading purchases.

Responsibilities

• Sell mattresses using the bedMATCH system and provide a low-pressure shopping experience.
• Assist customers with loading purchases onto their vehicles.
• Maintain showroom and assist with showroom resets as needed.
• Engage customers and identify their sleep solutions needs.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking highly motivated and successful Retail Sales Consultants to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 520 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 35+ years, and we are USA family owned and operated! You will confidently sell our premium mattress/bedding products utilizing our tried and proven selling process and cutting-edge diagnostic sleep system bedMatch .

• We are looking for motivated people with the availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends. Our typical 4–5-day work week offers our Retail Sales Consultants the opportunity to work between 40 and 55 hours a week.
• Bilingual with equal fluency in verbal and written English and Spanish or other languages a plus!
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset the showroom floor, and assist customers with loading their mattress purchases onto their vehicles.
• You will provide our customers with a relaxed, low pressure and educational shopping experience focusing on improving their lives through our sleep solutions.
• We use state of the art technology including tablets, mobile point of sales (POS), and our exclusive bedMatch system.
