Job summary

Capital Group in Southern California is seeking a Sales Coach to drive global sales performance by facilitating onboarding and in‑role development across client groups. You will deliver 1:1 and cohort coaching, build role-specific competencies, use AI-enabled tools to scale practice, and partner with managers to ensure readiness and consistent coaching across sites.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in sales, sales enablement, sales coaching, training, or advisor-facing role at a financial services or asset management firm with a proven ability to influence sales performance and drive behavior change.
  • You have a SIE, Series 7, and Series 66.
  • If you aren’t currently licensed, you must obtain them within the first 60 days of hire.
  • You will hold a bachelor’s degree with an advanced degrees or industry designations (CIMA, CAIA, CFP, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding and recurring development programs for sales associates across roles, sites, and regions.
  • Partner with managers and sales leaders to support associate readiness, build role-specific competencies, and use AI-enabled coaching tools to scale practice, feedback, and development of worldwide talent.
  • Deliver competency-based 1:1 coaching using structured intake, coaching plans, observations, manager alignment, and scorecard reviews.
  • Coach associates through the full sales conversation, including openings, discovery, storytelling, product positioning, objection handling, and closing.
  • Apply established coaching frameworks and playbooks to create consistency, accountability, and measurable behavior change.
  • Partner with managers as a consultative third party, reinforcing manager ownership while supporting associate development.
  • Design and refine coaching scenarios that reflect real sales situations, and help associates build confidence and readiness.
  • You bring sales credibility, facilitation expertise, investment acumen, executive presence, adaptability, and curiosity for how AI can enhance coaching and development.

Role Overview

“I can succeed as a Sales Coach.” As a Sales Coach, you will help drive global sales performance by facilitating onboarding and in‑role development, delivering 1:1 and cohort‑based coaching, and strengthening the quality of sales conversations across all Client Groups.

Compensation

Southern California Base Salary Range: $125,909-$201,454

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.

Temporary positions in the United States are excluded from the above mentioned compensation and benefit plans.
