Associate Director, Sales Channel/Affiliates & BDR’s role offers growth potential, professional development, an engaging small team environment, the ability to work a remote schedule, and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned Channel Partners as the Sales Channel & Affiliates Manager for Indirect Tax.
  • Identifies, recruits, develops, and manages partners for the assigned application ecosystems (reselling partners, referral partners, VARs, ISVs, SIs) for the CCH Tagetik Corporate Tax partner program.
  • Develops and drives sales pipeline while working with partners and cross-functional teams internally.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with executive sponsors, field sales and pre-sales leaders, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Support at partners within the named Channel Partner Portfolio.
  • Coordinates ongoing education and training sessions for Channel Partners to drive new sales opportunities.
  • Identifies, recruits, negotiates, on-boards, develops, trains, and manages new partners to be added to the Channel Partner Portfolio.
  • Develops a deep understanding of Channel Partners’ sales organizations, products, strategies, and their customer value and go-to-market priorities to connect Wolters Kluwer CCH Tagetik Corporate Indirect Tax products with Partners’ market offerings.
  • Works with Marketing teams to craft partner-specific marketing messaging and programs to drive new sales of Wolters Kluwer products and services.
  • Collaborates with Division Partner Sales Manager on Channel Partner planning processes to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and milestones.
  • Conducts quarterly and annual business reviews with Channel Partner executive sponsors and stakeholders on progress against mutual objectives and targets.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to Channel Partners for Wolters Kluwer lines of business on strategic issues.
  • Works with Marketing and Sales teams to maximize partner revenue potential and reports partner activities in CRM.
  • Presents to Channel Partners, prospects and customers at industry trade shows.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.

  • Tax & Accounting industry sales or relevant experience; knowledge of Tax & Accounting practices.

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels; metrics-driven with a disciplined process orientation.

  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in a teaming environment.

  • Proven consultative, collaborative approach; ability to engender trust and cooperation and drive for shared goals.

  • Strong business judgment and flexibility to manage changing conditions; ability to prioritize hard decisions.

  • Engaging operational style that builds credibility with staff and stakeholders.

  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills; ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

  • 7+ years of experience in Channel Sales/Channel Partner Management, Account Management, Product Management or Business Development within software/SaaS or cloud technologies.

  • Track record in Channel Partner Management and third-party arrangements; experience negotiating complex deals.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation, and networking skills; strong professional network.

  • Knowledge of major ERP, E-commerce and POS products; significant technical knowledge.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM.

Compensation and Benefits
