DARCARS Automotive Group is looking for a On-Site Sales BDC Director!

Role Overview

As a Business Development Call Center Director, your role is vital in managing our digital business prospects. This is not a remote position. You will develop a next-generation car buying experience by establishing genuine connections with prospective customers via their preferred communication channels. Your responsibilities include managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls and emails promptly, identifying customer needs, scheduling in-person and virtual appointments, partnering with sales consultants, and providing pricing and vehicle availability information.

Responsibilities
  1. Respond to all customer internet inquiries via email, SMS, and phone within 1 hour, ensuring content meets company mystery shop guidelines.
  2. Serve as the first-level expert on our products, services, purchase process, and the DARCARS brand.
  3. Convert inquiries into dealership visits or virtual appointments.
  4. Follow established phone scripts and email templates.
  5. Document all customer contact activities in eLeads (CRM).
  6. Meet or exceed individual performance objectives such as response time, response rate, appointment set rate, follow-up activities, and conversion rates.
  7. Follow best practices for short-term and long-term customer follow-up.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Quick learner capable of absorbing product and service information.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality, process improvement, innovation, and excellence.
  • Professional appearance and work ethics.
  • Ability to make high-volume outgoing calls, typically 70+ per day.
  • Advanced computer and phone skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 35-40 words per minute.
  • Experience with customer tracking systems is preferred.
  • Experience in retail, sales, service BDC, receptionist, call center, or sales BDC roles is preferred.
  • Appointment setting experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; team player.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background checks.
