Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales BDC Agent to join our growing dealership's sales team. You will be responsible for coordinating all incoming requests made via telephone or online, searching for potential sales leads, booking appointments for the showroom, and acting as a first point of contact for customers.

This role is responsible for generating sales appointments with customers that contact the dealership via the internet to purchase new and/or pre-owned vehicles. They are responsible for delivering a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate, and courteous manner. This highly accountable position uses lead management tools, CRM software, and the internet to manage inquiry flow, update customer files, and closely track customer interest. They will be trained to understand all products and services offered, will become knowledgeable of inventory as well as financing and incentive programs. To be successful in this role, you should have a knack for marketing and sales. Top candidates will be professional and personable individuals, with a passion for great customer service.

BDC Representative Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and online enquiries.
  • Logging customer details and comments in our system.
  • Scheduling appointments and following up with any "no show" customers.
  • Maintaining thorough, up-to-date knowledge of our products.
  • Greeting and assisting walk-in customers, and treating all clientele with courtesy and respect.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining contact with customers to ensure they are happy with our service.
  • Ensuring potential customers are aware of any promotions.
  • Assisting with various other tasks at the dealership.

Preferred:

  • Proven experience in sales.
  • At least 1-2 years working for an automotive dealership.
  • Good written, verbal and phone communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with an ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and the internet.
  • Professional and personable demeanor.

Required:

  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
