Job summary

Reeves Golf Course is seeking an attentive team member to assist customers in the Pro Shop and merchandise areas. You will book tee times, rent equipment, assign carts, and help maintain a clean, organized shop.

The role includes cash handling, daily deposits, and ledger entries, with opportunities to engage customers and upsell merchandise. Openings require friendly service, basic math skills, and a willingness to work as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service in a retail or hospitality setting.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle daily deposits accurately.
• Basic familiarity with selling merchandise and assisting customers with product selection.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the golf shop and rental shop operations.
• Book tee times and rent golf equipment to customers.
• Assign golf carts and tee times as needed.
• Sell shop merchandise and maintain tidy shelves.
• Open/close shop and secure Pro Shop and carts; keep work areas clean.
• Discuss merchandise and equipment ordering with management.
• Cashes out daily income, deposits, and ledger entries.
• Assist customers and perform other duties as assigned.
• Monitor speed of play and parking lot; serve snacks and beverages.

Overview

Assists customers of the golf course merchandise and rental shop.

Essential Responsibilities

• Books tee times
• Rents golf equipment
• Assigns golf carts and tee times
• Sells shop merchandise
• Opens, closes, and secures Pro Shop and carts
• Keeps shelves stocked and tidy
• Keeps work areas clean throughout shop
• Discusses merchandise and equipment ordering with management
• Opens and closes cash register, cashes out daily income, makes daily deposits and enters into ledger
• Assists all customers as necessary
• Other duties to be assigned
• Monitor and Marshal speed of play
• Monitor parking lot
• Serve Snacks, Hotdogs, Soft Drinks & Beer
