Job summary

Troon International at Sydney R. Marovitz in Chicago is seeking a Golf Sales Attendant to provide superior service in a golf hospitality environment.

You will manage shop opening/closing, sales transactions, tee time reservations, and merchandise displays, while coordinating with guest services and management for starting times and play. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required, with opportunities to assist at member events and tournaments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three months related experience preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance with flexible weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of the Golf Sales Attendant:

• Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop
• Responsible for accountability of all Member and Guest sales transactions
• Make tee time reservations
• Assist with rotating merchandise inventory and keeping displays clean and orderly
• May work with guest services and club management to facilitate starting times and play on the golf course
• Assist as needed with member events and outside tournaments

Minimum Qualifications for the Golf Sales Attendant:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); and three months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance. Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
