About the Role:
LendAPI is seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Associate to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our sales organization, you’ll play a vital role in growing our customer base by identifying, engaging, and converting prospects. This is a high-impact position that requires strong communication skills, a passion for fintech, and the ability to effectively demo our software platform to a wide range of lenders and fintech clients.
You’ll also work closely with our onboarding and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from signed deal to successful launch. If you're a motivated closer who thrives in a startup environment and loves showcasing the power of innovative technology, we’d love to meet you.
What You Will Do:
Conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate and qualify leads
Schedule and deliver live demos of the LendAPI platform to prospective clients
Understand and articulate the value proposition of LendAPI’s Decision Engine, Marketplace, and APIs
Build and manage a pipeline of prospects using our CRM tools
Follow up consistently with leads and navigate deal cycles to close new business
Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth handoff and launch experience
Track and report key metrics to leadership and continuously refine your sales strategy
Stay informed about the fintech landscape and lending trends
About You:
2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or fintech sales (or equivalent experience in financial services or lending)
Confident communicator and presenter with experience demoing software products
Strong phone presence and ability to build rapport quickly
Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
Collaborative and comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about fintech and technology-driven transformation in lending
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience selling to banks, credit unions, or fintech lenders
Familiarity with lending platforms, credit decisioning, or APIs
Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM system
Knowledge of underwriting workflows or financial technology integrations

You’ve previously demoed technical software to both business and technical stakeholders
You bring a network of lender contacts or fintech operators
