Position Objective

The Sales Associate supports management in fostering a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and principles. Responsibilities include ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing store profitability. We pride ourselves on being an amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

Functional Responsibilities

Drive for Results

• Meet sales goals through effective sales techniques and product knowledge, helping customers find merchandise that suits their needs.
• Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and maintain visual standards.
• Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
• Participate in visual merchandising and store maintenance.

Customer Experience

• Model and promote MAPS principles, delivering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Ensure efficient register operations, understanding policies on payments, returns, and security.
• Encourage additional sales through gift cards and reward program sign-ups.
• Build customer loyalty via clienteling and styling.
• Know current product fit and style offerings online and in-store.
• Maintain consistent client communication using customer books.

Operational Excellence

• Support store replenishment to keep inventory full and appealing.
• Assist with order fulfillment and visual displays, including floor sets and signage.
• Contribute to store cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
