POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations. This includes ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability. We love what we do and believe that our teams are the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive for Results
  • Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge; recommend merchandise or help locate items based on customer needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
  • Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
  • Participate in visual directives including store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Ensure a fast, efficient register experience, staying current on policies.
  • Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and meet add-on goals.
  • Sign up clients for rewards programs.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Know current product fit and style offerings in-store and online.
  • Maintain consistent client communication via customer book.
Operational Excellence
  • Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and appealing.
  • Assist with locate fulfillment and visual displays.
  • Help with store cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Duties can vary across different brands.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 16 years or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn or adapt to new technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Regular attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Constant walking/standing during 67-100% of an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%).
  • Frequent climbing (34-66%).
