POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate supports Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and guiding principles in all store operations. The role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe our team is the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive for Results

• Meet sales goals using effective sales techniques and product knowledge; assist customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
• Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and maintain pricing and visual standards.
• Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
• Participate in visual merchandising including store sets and zone maintenance.

Customer Experience

• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, providing a seamless omni-channel experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Ensure efficient checkout processes, staying current on policies for payments, returns, and security.
• Encourage buying decisions at checkout, including gift card sales.
• Register clients for reward programs.
• Build customer relationships through clienteling and wardrobing.
• Maintain knowledge of current product fit and style offerings online and in-store.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers using customer books.

Operational Excellence

• Support replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked.
• Assist with locate fulfillment and visual directives such as floor sets and signage.
• Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Teamwork and Growth

• Promote inclusivity and collaboration in problem-solving.
• Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned, noting that duties may vary across brands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to technology and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift).
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%).
• Frequent climbing (34-66%).
