About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers, providing personal and genuine service interactions.
• Convert customer interactions into sales opportunities, promoting brand loyalty.
• Build relationships with customers, sharing expertise and demonstrating passion for outdoor products.
• Advocate for customers by listening actively to understand needs and solving problems efficiently.
• Leverage technology—POS, customer systems, and mobile devices—to provide seamless, fast omni‑channel service.
• Promote L.L.Bean sponsored programs such as Outdoor Discovery School and the L.L.Bean Mastercard program.
• Maintain visual and merchandising standards, ensuring a well‑organized store.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve results and adapt to changing business needs.
• Adhere to health and safety policies to maintain a safe workplace.

Physical Demands

Stand and walk during shifts; use headset for communication. Occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and ramps; lift 1–20lb routinely and up to 40lb occasionally (team lift as needed). Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
