Job summary

Glazer’s Beer and Beverage in Weslaco, TX is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to build customer relationships, improve product visibility, and provide reliable account support. You will manage retail execution across accounts, support sales priorities, and ensure timely, quality service while representing our brands in the market.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, basic math skills, and compliance with alcohol-sale regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of sales experience in the beverage or hospitality industry.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state law; must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to use basic math accurately, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates, ratios, percentages, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams, and schedules.
• Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
• Ability to solve practical problems when established guidance is limited.
• Ability to learn and follow applicable laws and regulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle products and regularly bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and occasionally stand, walk, sit, climb, or balance.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Close, distance, and color vision sufficient to perform assigned duties.
