Summary

Provide exceptional customer service on the sales floor at the University Village store by building client relationships, delivering product knowledge, and helping customers find merchandise that meets their needs. Support store sales goals through proactive selling and by maintaining a welcoming, well-presented shopping environment. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, engage in consultative selling, and drive conversion through personalized service.
• Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation standards on the sales floor.
• Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions, returns, and handle cash accurately.
• Support inventory management including receiving, restocking, and organizing merchandise.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet store sales targets and provide coverage during peak periods.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a department store or specialty retail environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and lift up to 50 lbs.
