Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Associate in Leawood, KS to greet customers, share product knowledge, and provide personalized service in a customer-centered setting. You will help create a seamless shopping experience and contribute to a welcoming store culture.

You should bring a passion for fashion and empowering confidence, flexible availability including nights and weekends, and strong interpersonal skills to connect with customers and teamwork to support store goals.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum age 16 in KS and listed states; 18 in all other states.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch for products; lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a customer-centered experience reflecting hospitality.
• Initiate authentic conversations to understand customer needs and provide personalized service.
• Create a seamless omnichannel experience using available tools.
• Educate customers about brand loyalty programs.

• Must be at least 16 years old for the following states: AZ, GA, ID, IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, and VA.
• For all other states, must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
