A pioneer in K–12 education since 2000, Amplify is leading the way in next-generation curriculum and assessment. Our core and supplemental programs in ELA, math, and science engage all students in rigorous learning and inspire them to think deeply, creatively, and for themselves.

Amplify is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to partner with our Sales Team. Are you a quick learner and a self-starter who enjoys technology? Are you looking to make a difference by sharing highly effective, outstanding programs with other educators? Do you have a particular love of K-12 curriculum?

The ideal candidates will have a passion for supporting schools and the ability to drive educators (at all levels) to make the right decisions regarding learning outcome choices for students and teachers. We are dedicated to providing crucial training before deployment.

This is a part-time contract role.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in building awareness of the Amplify brand and products in schools.
  2. Conduct sales meetings with school site personnel to support supplemental campaigns.
  3. Deliver product demonstrations/presentations for small to medium districts.
  4. Assist Amplify Sales Account Executive with school visits and product drop-offs when deemed safe by state health authorities.
  5. Identify new sales opportunities and advance them in collaboration with the team.
  6. Develop relationships with key school-building decision-makers.
  7. Provide customer and competitive feedback to Sales Leadership.
  8. Articulate the Amplify story with potential customers at state and citywide exhibitions, fairs, and other related gatherings, as needed.
  9. Support the creation of correlations and rubric responses as needed.
  10. Candidates will need to be able to work in the following regions: Midwest, Northeast, Inside West, Mid-Atlantic, & Southeast.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 1 year experience with teaching, school system administration, education market, or other industry supporting the sales function.
  2. Proficiency in English (verbal & written).
  3. Comfortable speaking to the public, and experience delivering presentations or trainings to audiences of 6+ people.
  4. Ability to lift and carry sample boxes/bags that may weigh up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Conversational intelligence – the ability to ask good questions and listen actively.
  2. Previous experience working with literacy, preferably early literacy programs or curricula.
  3. Experience crafting and delivering short multimedia presentations.

Compensation:
The hourly rate range for this role is $25.00 - $50.00 (Hourly Travel Rate $20.00 - $25.00).
