POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring excellent customer experiences and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe our teams are the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive for Results
  • Meet sales goals through effective sales techniques and product knowledge sharing; assist customers in locating merchandise based on their needs.
  • Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and maintain pricing and visual standards.
  • Handle merchandise properly, ensure presentation, prevent loss, and follow management directives.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Ensure a quick and efficient checkout process, staying current on policies regarding payments, returns, exchanges, and security.
  • Encourage additional sales at checkout, including gift cards and reward program sign-ups.
  • Build and maintain a loyal customer base through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Know current product fit and style offerings in-store and online.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers using customer books.
Operational Excellence
  • Support replenishment activities to keep the store stocked.
  • Assist with order fulfillment and visual displays, including floor sets and signage.
  • Help keep the store clean and organized.
Teamwork and Growth
  • Promote inclusivity and collaboration in problem-solving.
  • Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, noting that responsibilities may vary across brands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred retail or sales experience.
  • Must be 16 years or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to company technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Reliable attendance and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Constant walking/standing for 67-100% of an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. for 1-33% of the shift.
  • Frequent climbing for 34-66% of the shift.
