POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. We believe in a positive work environment where you can learn and grow.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive for Results:
   • Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge.
   • Maintain knowledge of sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
   • Ensure merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties are maintained as directed.
   • Participate in visual directives like store sets and zone maintenance.
2. Customer Experience:
   • Model and promote MAPS principles, offering an omni-channel experience.
   • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
   • Ensure efficient register experience and stay updated on policies.
   • Encourage buying decisions, gift card sales, and reward program sign-ups.
   • Build customer relationships through clienteling and wardrobing.
   • Know current product offerings and maintain customer communication.
3. Operational Excellence:
   • Support replenishment and locate fulfillment activities.
   • Assist with visual displays, signage, and store organization.
4. Teamwork and Growth:
   • Promote inclusivity and collaboration.
   • Seek personal development and feedback.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Good communication with customers and team
• Regular attendance and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Walking/Standing: 67-100% of shift
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.: 1-33% of shift
• Climbing: 34-66% of shift
