POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate supports management in promoting a customer- and product-focused sales culture, ensuring excellent customer experiences and maximizing profitability. We love what we do and believe our teams are the best place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive for Results

• Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques, sharing product knowledge, and assisting customers in merchandise selection based on their needs.
• Stay informed on current sales, promotions, and maintain pricing and visual standards.
• Handle merchandise, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
• Participate in visual merchandising, store sets, and zone maintenance.

Customer Experience

• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, offering a seamless omni-channel experience.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Ensure a quick, efficient checkout process, staying current on policies.
• Encourage buying decisions at checkout and meet add-on goals like gift card sales.
• Register clients for rewards programs.
• Build customer loyalty through clienteling and wardrobing.
• Know current product fit and style offerings, both in-store and online.
• Maintain regular communication with clients via customer books.

Operational Excellence

• Support replenishment activities to keep the store stocked.
• Assist with locate fulfillment.
• Help with visual directives, including floor sets, window displays, signage, etc.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Teamwork and Growth

• Promote inclusivity and collaboration in problem-solving.
• Seek personal development opportunities and feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned, noting that duties may vary across brands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management
• Regular attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of shift)
• Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift)
