About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you will provide customers with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service. You will utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing sincere, friendly, and energetic customer service by exemplifying world-class service standards.
- Achieving sales and contest goals while maintaining knowledge of current promotions.
- Assisting customers with services such as gift wrapping, gift registry, merchandise locating, catalog and special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
- Using effective sales techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
- Demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits.
- Performing register transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Implementing and maintaining visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting.
- Upholding store maintenance and cleanliness standards, including stockroom organization.
- Processing, ticketing, and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures.

Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred but not required).
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor, operate POS systems, and lift/mobilize items up to 75 pounds safely.
Availability:
- Full-time associates should have open availability; part-time associates must be available for at least two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Ability to operate POS systems.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds safely.
Benefits:
