POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Associate - Retail is the ultimate guide through the guests’ shopping experience. Hard Rock merchandise is a unique part of our business, requiring a special person to create the experience. As a Retail Associate, you will be a tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator, and musician (at heart).

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests.
• Answering questions accurately and politely.
• Answering the phone.
• Making proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Handling cash and other forms of payment.
• Maintaining proper cash drawer balances.
• Directing guests to areas/restrooms.
• Demonstrating product knowledge.
• Engaging guests to determine their needs and informing them of product features & benefits.
• Using suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintaining a clean and organized store.
• Managing product stock levels through pulls & inventories.
• Displaying products according to visual standards.
• Performing opening, closing, and side duties.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences.
• Entertaining guests to create "Raving Fans."

Knowledge of:

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to:

• Work flexible shifts and schedules.
