OVERVIEW:


Kickstart your sales career as a Part-time Sales Associate PT, where every interaction becomes an opportunity to shape customer relationships and drive business success. Develop new partnerships and grow existing ones in your book of business by communicating the value of our inventory management solutions using a consultative sales approach. This position is for our branch located at 2 Production Dr, Brookfield, CT 06804.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
  • Providing value to customers through a consultative sales approach
  • Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting
  • Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs
  • Performing local sales calls and driving a company vehicle to customer sites
  • Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

  • 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
  • Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
  • Possess or be working towards a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, or related field, OR have customer service or industry-related work experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
  • Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
  • Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
  • Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs, up to 75lbs
  • Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
