About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you provide customers with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service. Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assist customers with special services including gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog orders, and more
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits
  • Perform register transactions accurately, including sales, returns, and exchanges
  • Assist in visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting
Additional duties:
  • Maintain store cleanliness and stockroom organization
  • Process, ticket, and restock merchandise
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies

Candidate qualities:
  • Ability to ask questions to understand customer needs

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
Physical and availability requirements:
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor and operate POS systems
  • Lift and mobilize items up to 75 lbs.
  • Availability for full-time or part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays
