Role Objective
The Sales Associate works to achieve store sales goals by creating an authentic, organic Alo experience and embodying our Brand Mission. They foster genuine connections with guests, provide product education, and promote our community and culture. The individual is knowledgeable about all product features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, and care. They thrive in a team environment and value feedback and excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the store environment aligning with leadership and company goals.
• Drive and exceed sales goals through Alo’s Flow initiatives, maximizing productivity and efficiency.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly, welcoming shopping experience.
• Build and maintain client relationships daily.
• Analyze reports with leadership to strategize and meet results, focusing on growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives as needed.
• Stay informed about store goals, initiatives, new products, and communicate these to guests.
• Introduce all facets of the Alo business model confidently through personal testimony and knowledge.
• Utilize company tools and incentives to support store goals.
• Resolve customer needs promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Educate guests and staff about our product, community, and culture.
• Prioritize tasks based on business strategies in partnership with leadership.
• Assist with shipment processing, visual merchandising, and product replenishment.
• Follow all store policies and procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment.

Sales Associate Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years of experience in a client-focused sales environment.
• Passion for customer service and creating exceptional experiences.
• Alignment with and embodiment of Alo’s Guiding Principles.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
• Ability to move constantly within the store.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for long periods.

Schedule

Part-Time associates can work up to 30 hours/week with a minimum of 4 hours per shift. Full-Time associates are expected to have open availability, 7 days a week, between 32-40 hours. All employees must be available during the holiday season and Blackout period from Thanksgiving through early January.
