Job summary

Ralphs Joy of Living is seeking part-time sales associates in Ohio to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store environment. You’ll assist customers with a range of gourmet products, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain product displays and stock levels.

The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and flexibility, with a starting pay of $16 per hour plus quarterly bonuses. Opportunities exist to move into full-time roles with benefits based on performance and fit.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of retail sales experience or equivalent experience in service industry sales or customer service/restaurant
• 21 years of age with High school diploma or GED
• Able to safely lift loads in excess of 35 pounds
• Able to work most Saturdays and some evenings — this part is flexible for a part-timer with everything else we're looking for
• Strong computer skills
• Thrive in high activity environments while providing excellent customer service
• Able to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
• Assist customers with product questions and purchases, including wine, gourmet coffee, kitchenware, appliances, beds, and TVs
• Operate POS and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain shelves, signage and stock levels; ensure store cleanliness and organization
• Support team to meet store performance and customer satisfaction goals
