McFarland Clinic in Marshalltown is seeking an energetic optometric assistant to join our team. You will prepare patients for exams, take visual acuity, perform basic screening tests, educate patients, refill medications, and support the ophthalmology team in a busy clinic.

McFarland Clinic has an opening for an energetic optometric assistant for Marshalltown office. The candidate is expected to be a team player, willing to learn basic ophthalmic techniques as well as the working of advanced ophthalmic equipment. Responsibilities include: Prepares patients for exams. Takes visual acuity and performs basic screening tests, educates patients, refills medications and performs ancillary tests. Schedules patients and answers phone calls.
