Job summary

Cappel's Ace Hardware is seeking friendly Sales Associates in Norwalk, IA to assist customers, stock shelves, and manage register transactions. Prior hardware experience is helpful but not required as extensive training is provided.

You will engage customers, keep merchandise presented neatly, and contribute to a clean, welcoming store environment while working a fast-paced, high-energy schedule.

Qualifications

• The Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.
• The Associate is also responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise.
• Previous hardware experience is a plus but not a requirement as we provide extensive training.

What to expect:

• You’ll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.

• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift up to 50 lbs.
