Position: SALES ASSOCIATE/MATERIAL HANDLER

As a team member, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Greeting customers and donors warmly, providing prompt and courteous assistance.
2. Stocking and merchandising items on the sales floor.
3. Maintaining store and donation area cleanliness and organization, including cleaning duties as assigned.
4. Following POS/Cash Register Policies in accordance with TSA Procedures.
5. Ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
6. Attending monthly store meetings.
7. Receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory accurately and efficiently.
8. Inspecting products for defects and damages.
9. Assisting donors with removal of items from vehicles and providing receipts.
10. Sorting and stacking donated materials as instructed.
11. Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Ability to operate POS/Cash Register accurately.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Effective communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist regularly.
• Ability to handle objects such as carts, racks, and furniture.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Schedule:

Our stores operate 7 days a week. Schedules vary and employees must be flexible to ensure store coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
