The Salvation Army Bakersfield Ming Store is seeking a part-time Sales Associate/Material Handler to greet customers, sort donations, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean store environment. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure excellent donor and customer experiences.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, following TSA policies, and supporting team efforts to promote Do The Most Good in the local community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate POS/Cash Register.
• Background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock items on the sales floor per Salvation Army standards.
• Process and sort donations for inventory and display.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and assist with cleaning duties.
• Follow POS/Cash Register policies and safety guidelines.
