Holmes Ace Hardware is seeking a part-time Sales Associate - Manager to support store operations in New Albany. The role includes supervising staff, handling customer relations, scheduling, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are targeted for Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 1:00pm–7:15pm and Sundays 11:00am–5:15pm, with weekly store hours across Mon-Sat 7:00am–7:00pm and Sun 10:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience required.
• No felony background.

The Manager role includes supervising staff, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently, handling customer relations and complaints, and maintaining safety and security standards.You will act as a central point of contact for employees and customers, managing staff schedules, enforcing company policies, and handling administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Staff supervision:Oversee daily performance, delegate tasks, manage schedules, provide training, and enforce company policies.
• Operational management:Ensure smooth daily operations, monitor workflow efficiency, and assist teams as needed during busy periods.
• Customer service:Address customer inquiries and complaints, act as the escalation point for issues, and work to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Problem-solving:Handle emergencies and unexpected situations, such as power outages or security incidents, and find solutions for operational issues.
• Administrative duties:Complete daily reports, maintain records, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
• Safety and security:Conduct inspections to ensure a safe and clean environment, and ensure compliance with all security and safety procedures.
