GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate ensures every customer has an exceptional experience, establishing LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Deliver sales goals by cultivating existing relationships and building new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist customers in selecting frames, coordinating with optical measurements.
4. Conduct measurements with appropriate tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory organized and attractive.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by respecting customers and colleagues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience
3. Familiarity with POS systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
4. Openness to new technology and high accuracy in tasks
5. Strong sales skills with a goal-oriented mindset
6. Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
7. Self-motivated, able to multitask, and adapt quickly to change
