Job Role: Sales Associate

General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard in eye care and eyewear quality by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at LensCrafters, establishing us as the premier destination for vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales plans and meet company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers choose the best vision solutions.
4. Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Participate actively in creating a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated, able to multitask, and respond flexibly in a changing environment
